Repurposing: ceiling flat lamp turned summer decoration base

This is me mixing some sea shells of different color and shape, beach sand [mix fine and coarse sand] and a repurposed transparent wine glass. And candles.

Obsessions: Repurposing: ...little boxes, all the same... card cabinets and filing cabinets

I am currently obsessed with wooden library card cabinets. This is one clever cabinet repurposing idea, by Emily Henderson.

Or, for a post-industrial loft apartment inspiration, heavy, metal filing cabinets - by SnapshotVintage. Repurposed as night stands or end tables.

Photos taken from: Emily Henderson's blog, SnapshotVintage's Etsy. I am sure I will go back to those sites soon and often.

This is me thinking if I could possibly have both little boxes cabinets styles in my house.

From my heart: just add coffee

This is me thinking:
Breakfast is important. Make something sweet. Add fruit. Add coffee
Then read some blogs, heart some pics, and don't forget books. Real ones. Add coffee
Bake a cake. Add coffee
Take your bike out in town. Find a bakery. Sit and chat. Add coffee
Organize and clean your work space. Work. Add coffee
Take a break, have an ice-cream. Add coffee
Dream of a decadent chocolate cake. Add coffee
Think of ways to improve your home. Add coffee
Meet friends in the evening for meaningless talk. Add coffee
Whatever you do, just add coffee

Light: candles and dark spaces

This is me using natural light at night. Candle corners keep the room warm-lit.

Repurposing: wood and iron

This is me liking the repurposed-wood idea and all but really drooling over the iron objects in the room

Repurposing ideas of note: retro magnetic storage device notebooks

Here I present some "repurposed" present (gift) ideas for your friends: the 3.5" five-pack version for the hip & young and the 5.25" version for the grown-up and truly nostalgic.
Both floppy disk notebook ideas from It's Our Earth, Inc. on cosa verde.

I'm thinking these objects could make for an interesting "handcrafted gifts" workshop.

Repurposing: branches after pruning - Simple branch decor

From RUM magazine, via loppelilla, via stilinspiration

Great daylight party decor.

The afternoon tea

Today I'm having Earl Grey from Mighty Leaf. Organic and delicious. The teabag itself is somewhat of an handcrafted artwork. I don't know if it's really handcrafted (guess not) but it looks like it!
Inspiring.

Found this picture on weheartit
Really makes me want to dive into
organising.

Effortlessly chic - a look into a relaxed mother-daughter relationship

Taken from here. Credits Kate Barry, Jane Birkin, Lou Doillon

I'm thinking style runs in the family. Relaxed attitude towards creation, too. I'm researching some stripes images with the talented women in this family - not excluding Charlotte Gainsbourg, of course.

Late autumn goodies

It's late autumn and my city hasn't seen a drop of rain all season. I wonder what winter brings. In the meantime, try and dehidrate apple slices - delicious!

This is me thinking healthy simple autumn food

fermLIVING wallsticker inspiration: Berry Black

As promised, fermLIVING wallsticker-inspired post. The first.

This is me thinking of dried winter berries for decor and fresh berries in my drink
